WTP65
The WTP65 displays sea water temperature from 32.0 deg F (0.0 deg C) to 90.0 deg F. (32.0 deg C) in tenths of a degree. The units of display is easily selected with a removable jumper wire at the back of the instrument.
The WTP65 instrument head is factory calibrated but can be user calibrated in the field with small jumpers on the back of the instrument. All set-up and calibration constants are saved to non-volatile memory.
The WTP65 has a built-in red backlight for night-time viewing and works on both 12 and 24 VDC systems. The WTP65 is very easy to install, requiring only a 2-1/8" (55mm) hole saw and screwdriver to connect.
The WTP65 outputs NMEA 0183 serial data sentences at 4800 BAUD on rear screw terminal pin "C" (see below).
In the NMEA 0183 sentence below, *cs is the check sum:
Water Temperature: $VWMTW,xx.x,C*cs
Where xx.x is the displayed value of temperature in deg. C.
This ASCII information can be used to log performance or repeat the display information at a remote location
on the matching CruzPro RP60, RP110 and MaxRp110 data repeaters (see www.cruzpro.com/rp60.html
, www.cruzpro.com/rp110.html and www.cruzpro.com/maxrp110.html).
If NMEA 0183 serial data
is not required, then the output terminal can be programmed as an external alarm output pin.
Plastic transom mount and bronze thru-hull temperature transducers with 30 foot (9 M) cables are seperately available for the WTP65.
